THE INSPIRATION
The plan view serves as a common method for depicting spaces in architectural drawings. In reality, the opportunity to observe a space from such a bird's-eye perspective is rare. This study is to explore human interactions within a plan view, offering a unique perspective on everyday occurrences. The narrative revolves around an incident I encounter almost everyday — how to locate my phone in the bedroom.
THE PRODUCTION
The creation of this motion animation involves a multi-media approach. The initial phase includes capturing a video of the entire motion from an elevated perspective. Subsequently, key frames are selected and printed. Following this, each printed image is traced, scanned, and interconnected to form a cohesive sequence. Finally, the integration of music at strategic moments and the overlay of original videos culminate in the completion of the project.
